Rowad Acrylic
Sheets (RAS) is a thermoplastic sheet with
a sparkling crystal clarity and outstanding surface hardness,
combined with superior weatherability and good chemical resistance.
Chemically this is known as Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) plastic.

Length :
Unlimited but normally 3 meters is more common in use.
Width :
up to 2.05 meter.
Thickness
: 2-15 mm, Higher thickness is possible
if required.

RAS
has a wide range of applications such as:
Decorative sign works & display, Window glazing, Automobile
components, Sanitaryware, light cover & Skylight partitions

Properties |

|
Optical:
RAS shows excellent transparency and diffusion of light.
The transmission of visible light is 92% that is equal to glass
and Haze is less than 1%.

Weatherability:
RAS withstands prolonged periods of exposure
to weather and sunlight without yellowness and stress cracking.
|
Surface
(appearance): RAS is available in plain, textured,
Prismatic and sand blasted surfaces or as per customer requirements.

Fabrication
& Installation: Drilling, threading, taping, routing and machining
operations are easy to perform on RAS.

Chemical:
RAS is unaffected by alkalis, non-oxidizing acids,
detergents and aliphatic hydrocarbons

Weights:
RAS is lighter than glass and weight approximately half
of the glass.

Standard
colors: RAS is available in most transparent,
translucent and opaque colors.

Electrical:
RAS shows good di electric strength, low electrical conductivity
and excellent arc resistance.
